Background: Guests staying at Xplorie participating properties receive access to a large catalog of activities they can book online. If they haven’t received their booking link, this form allows them to instantly retrieve it by entering their reservation information.

Problem: The previous booking link page was outdated in both design and usability. It did not follow current brand guidelines, the date picker was difficult to use, the page lacked dark mode support, and guests with multiple reservations would only receive a single booking link, which created confusion and additional support requests.

Process and Solution: I redesigned the page from the ground up, beginning with wireframes that streamlined the flow and reduced friction. The updated design consolidates the name fields, introduces an intuitive calendar date picker, and supports dark mode throughout the experience. By using Livewire and Flux UI components, the new form is modern, clean, and simple to use. The results page now returns all booking links associated with a guest along with their reservation details, which greatly improves clarity and reduces support issues. In addition, both the success and failure pages include FAQs to help the user.
