Website Module for Vacation Rental Partners

Background: Xplorie is an activity company that is dedicated to making guests' vacations memorable. Guests staying at Xplorie participating properties have access to a large catalog of activities, some of which are free with their stay, and the rest bookable at a discounted rate.

Problem & Solution: Xplorie needed to replace previous client deliverables which included a custom landing page that was manually updated each time a vacation rental partner changed their free activities, or if an activity was no longer available. Xplorie needed a solution that was not as laborious to update and that could easily integrate into partners' websites. I created a module that integrates into partner websites, and displays activities and offers clearly.

Process: By using Xplorie's proprietary e-commerce software, website modules were able to be created from the activity catalog, but they were not styled and didn't integrate well into websites. The website module needed to be clear enough to display activities and let users know that they receive free and discounted activities, yet not disrupt the flow of the website.

I used guest and vacation rental partner feed back to make the changes in version 2. Guests needed a place to go back to, before they received any marketing emails and before their stay to check their activities and find their booking link.
